Skill-stack your current skills with new leadership skills and get other people to follow your guidance. How can people know you have ideas if you don't talk about them? Push to people rather than waiting for their pull. Operate the future on top of the present. Be proactive not reactive, anticipate challenges and opportunities. Thinking ahead leads to department growth, which is the leader's job. If you're behind, so will be the team. Schedule your priorities, this helps working hard on the right things. Manage your time before yourself before others. If you can't show up for yourself, you can't show up for your team. They will be what you are, whether good or bad. You have the same amount of time as Albert Einstein and Elon Musk. If you can't manage your time, how can you help others to do so? The busiest people are not moving things forward, people with free time do. Schedule your priorities on Monday or Sunday hour 1. Remove friction for everyone. Be a positive ROI for everyone. Look at what work you can take from your boss' plate. Calendar grab, make your manager's life easier. Ask your manager this question: how hard will you fight to keep me? Make it your responsibility even if it's not your job. You can grow anything if you can lead. Leaders never complain, they solve problems by finding solutions. The speed of the leader is the speed of the team, don't be the bottleneck. Leaders only earn respect by being trustworthy, which creates predictability. Leaders have their personal lives under control, people judge you as a whole. Leaders hire people smarter than them, they are the one growing the business. Leading the way means being alone, you do things before others who are behind. You can lead without but having integrity makes you a leader, be worth following. The company you want sits behind hard conversations, tell people the hard truth. A true leader creates other leaders, give your team members authority and feedback. A leader is as great as the few company he keeps, your spouse should support your goals. Leaders are adaptable because everything changes, move forward instead of arguing reality. Leaders step back for their team to step up, give them the opportunity to show their potential. Leaders know how to make trade-offs, they must say no to many things to avoid loosing focus. The right mindset doesn't mean success, acting with your values regardless of what you feel does. Picking the right people is more valuable than being the right person, they are the one building the business. You make all the money at once, growth is exponential. There is no shame in being poor, work yourself out of it. You don't have to be that smart, only to work hard on good choices. Do not count other people's money, focus on yours and your needs. Solve difficult problems, providing more value gives you more money. Saving gives you the security to take risks, the peace of mind to grow. Money always chases the best, demonstrate excellence to be noticed. Make money actively before passively, you'll learn to see opportunities. Money shouldn't be your only goal, money is a tool to build your dreams. Change your behaviors rather than your beliefs, get busy with your hands.
