Live by design, not by default. Be yourself to find people that like your true self. Want what's worth getting. Beware of toxic compassion meaning looking good rather than doing good (reality of goodness vs perception). Trajectory matters more than position due to recency bias. Succeeding in something you hate should motivate you to do something you love. Regrets hurt more than failure so try. Dopamine is not about the pursuit of happiness but the happiness of pursuit, but don't anticipate too much and enjoy the now. Don't outsource your sense of self worth or you'll be a puppet. The 4 fuck you levels are money, freedom, family, fame. Don't fear social judgment when failing, neediness is behaving for others rather than yourself. It's harder to succeed if X happens to you but try despite it. Blaming means giving power to (what you blame your failure on has the power so blame yourself rather than X). Play your best game with your shitty cards. Text/Call your friends when you think about them. Recovery matters to keep high productivity (you're sleeping less than you think you are). Business is a vehicle for self-improvement. Don't post your content if you wouldn't watch it. Track yourself weekly to see good and bad trends (reps, diet, sleep, mental health). Each year is your golden year (problems and anxiety never leave so choose happiness). Focus on what's not going to change X years from now (avoid predicting the future). Separate your day in block of time with alarms. Use AI to learn fundamentals of things you don't know/understand (nothing is intimidating anymore). Have a minimal to-do list to feel better (do the basic 6 and start 2 from tomorrow feels good). Fail fast when learning new things to learn lessons quickly. Happiness depends on expectations. Questions are the answers you might need (Does it X, Why, What would you do, What should I be asking). Be able to criticize your gurus and praise a bit of your opponents.
Chris WilliamsonWorking to live is being poor. You are either rich or poor, there is no in-between. If the poor stays poor and the rich stays rich, it is because the question of money is not taught at school but at home. Blaming someone else for your own poverty is a failure because your fate is not due to the actions of others. The poor work to earn money, the rich make their money work for them. When you work for money, you become its slave. For most people, the more money you earn, the more you spend, going from being a slave to a luxury slave. A slave may earn a lot but he is still someone's slave. We must stop being afraid of money and master this power. To become rich, you must have assets that generate income. An asset puts money in our pocket (rented real estate, dividend-paying stock), a liability takes it away (credit card). You should not spend your life working for others. Unfortunately, it is not the smartest who takes the lead but the most daring, so take risks after having informed yourself well. Only one skill can make the difference between success and indifference, and it is often marketing. You have to look for a job for the learning you will do there, not for the salary and short-term benefits. Everyone is interested in money, those who claim otherwise are afraid and look for excuses. Being rich is a choice. Action always surpasses inaction.
