Philosophy is lived in dialogue because we learn to live from someone. Everyone wants to live happily but few are those who achieve it. The most beaten path is the one that deceives the most, let us go where we are going rather than where we must go. Common opinion is the one that deceives us the most. The happy life is found off the beaten track and manifests itself by making you feel happy if you are on the right path. To accuse others of one's misfortunes is the characteristic of the ignorant, to accuse only oneself is the characteristic of one who walks towards wisdom, to no longer have to accuse anyone of one's misfortunes is the characteristic of one who has arrived at wisdom. The more we have the feeling of being fulfilled, the more we have the impression of having progressed. Learning to live is done with masters who transmit their wisdom. We have great advisers but no one to listen to them. We live as if it will always be the case. This day that we sacrifice to X will perhaps be our last.
Lucius SenecaPlay by the rules or cheat? Deontology means jugging the action itself. Consequentialism is doing an action only based on the consequences. The system has no intention on letting different people climbing the social ladder. Making one public mistake will forever keep you out. Playing it clean in the system can be boring and the people righting the rules are corrupted and vicious. The right moral choices come out of your own vision and experience, you don't need to get everything right.
MoonThinking like others won't get you far. Nonconformity doesn't mean unhealthy. If the current conform trend doesn't suit you, wearing a mask will waste your time, energy, and mental health. Lies are everywhere nowadays: politics, medias, industries, etc., and consumption is displayed as the only way out. Being nonconformist means renouncing society's lies and structures that have been infected by them. It then means giving yourself new goals to cultivate strengths and talents. Solitude helps understanding our self, but a nonconformist doesn't live on its own. A nonconformist has no shame nor fear of society's look, he can even use hate and laughter to fuel his motivation. Taking your own path requires work and is not for the lazy. Don't weakly try to reconcile with the world, do what you're afraid to do.
