Be different in order to develop the ability to be disliked and free yourself from the prison of other's opinions. You can't change others so stop trying to and realize that improving your life isn't about changing yourself but adapting and being comfortable with who you (and your partner) already are. Not being embarrassed regularly means you're not trying hard enough so do stuff. Most relationships will end or even be forgotten but that's fine, normal, healthy, and better than not putting yourself out, especially because you can't force a good relationship in the first place. Your dreams are most likely overestimated as, if you reach them, they won't fix deeper issues and if you don't despite trying, you'll be bitter about it forever. The dream helps to start and you must hold to it lightly. To feel good about yourself, do things worth feeling good about, seek meaning behind your actions and look for happiness in the things you have first.
Mark MansonLaugh at your anxieties. When in a cringe and embarrassing situation, zoom out as if you were watching that on TV and laugh at yourself. If others laugh at you, laugh with them. It takes away the heaviness and seriousness, after all it's not a big deal. Amuse yourself, you're invincible, you're in on the joke and will figure out a way out of it. Same for other's opinions, why take them seriously, they don't know you. You don't know them too however, so don't speculate back. Our actions depends on our perceptions and assumptions and projections, but we know nothing about them. Super fans easily turn into super hater because they project so much on you that they become disappointed. Only your opinion on yourself matters, not external positive or negative ones. Embrace, exaggerate, laugh. Creativity helps to embrace exaggerate. Laugh your way out of it.
Julien BlancYour twenties determine your life as your thirties will hit you hard, even though it's still doable past that point. Watch out for comfort and cheap dopamine. Build your body, your look catches attention whether you like it or not so look good but don't become narcissist, and you'll also benefit from a higher energy level. Gain height in your mind to better understand and drive it by studying a bit of psychology, philosophy, and science over time. Build your business, you have value to provide, put yourself out to impact others with your expertise without looking to build a billion-dollar business. An easy one-person business is to sell things that would have helped your past self.
