Aging begins after adolescence, start working on your health in your 20s. What you do today will impact you in 30 years. Habits matter more than genes as you get older. Manage your health like you manage your finance. You have 3 age: administrative (years), physiological (body), felt (mind). The healthiest people have a physiological age that matches their administrative age, the rest have a body older than their real age. Get in shape then keep it as long as possible. Your best years are your 30s and 40s because they happen after the 20s of discovery and the 50s of change with decline, even though the 30s and 40s pass really fast. You won't be 20 forever, taking aging seriously. Do corrective and preventive maintenance on your body. The key to a long life is little stress, physical activity, and social connection. Skin hydration is good, skin protection is better. Back pain comes from bad pasture. Sugar leads to glycation, a major aging mechanism. Blue zones centenarians don't overeat, are socially and physically active physically, but also don't stress-free. Bodies aren't made equal, some metabolisms get fat much faster than others. Intermittent fasting works to loose weight because it makes you eat less, but only if you do it all your life. Having a purpose in life matters more than eating enough for longevity: fill your cup before your plate. You shouldn't retire if you enjoy your job. Isolation kills, at least get a pet. Average life expectancy grows as long as science innovates and we should start measuring healthy aging. Live with the objective to be healthy at 100 years old. Aging goes faster is you overeat sugar, don't move, smoke tobacco, drink alcohol, take drugs, don't sleep, stress. Sleeping is healing. The future of medicine is hyper-personalization because everyone is different and average don't mean anything. You don't need pills and supplements, only good food and physical activity.
Christophe De JaegerWe get simpler with age because we know what matters, make sure you don't get it too late. Stay curious to pass the time on your own but avoid isolation at all cost. Negativity is like the sea the retires, you never how fall it'll go. Luck comes in the form of opportunities but it's up to you to cease it. Define your job as you practice it. Work-life balance was easier to manage before computers. Audacity doesn't always work, but it works enough to get you in the right places. Life is a succession of mysteries and miracles, you won't be able to explain most of it. A simple life is one driven by gut feeling rather than logic where you trust yourself more than anything else. Different societies need different products, sell what's needed to prosper. Seek having fun with others to succeed, not power. The key to maintaining a happy workplace over time is to be a happy person yourself. People are waiting for the leader's green flag to start experimenting. It is never too late to start, 40 is only half of 80. Ownership is tiresome because it comes with responsibilities. Peace of mind matters more than time. When you've lived happily with someone all your life, you want to die at the same time. Living with someone who is similar to you would be boring. Humble beginnings makes you appreciate success more. Modern life is richer, people used to only have one job and one partner for all their life. The beauty of regularity is that it never stops, no matter the frequency. Love and create connections. Being a feminist isn't being anti-man. Friendship requires shared desires and a meal to discuss over. What's the point of talking if it's not to discuss about our struggles and emotions ?
