Have finesse, notice what’s unsaid and handle sensitive dynamics. Don't give insecure vibes, ditch subconscious signals when facing uncertainties. Deliver bad news well, get to the point and minimize drama. Be explicit with others, share early and often. Use accurate language, back your claims with evidences and avoid caveats. Give feedbacks the right way, use a diplomatic curiosity-forward language.
Anton ZaidesReach out when you think of people, bring people along for the ride of the micro-moments that are happening in your life. The most important way to build your network is to positively interact with your coworkers. Get out there and meet people occasionally, in ways that work for you. Humans do not fully trust people they haven’t seen in a while, meet them at least every 1 to 3 years. Trade personal details, people perceive a strong association with knowing others’ personal details and liking them. If you network effectively, you’ll work with people you like, at more successful companies, which can pay you more.
Stay SaaSyVulnerability is exposing a gap of yours, leadership is showing how you’re closing it. Combating intolerance and solving differences begins with empathy, not outrage. Real understanding and progress stem from the courage to listen, the humility to ask questions, and the willingness to see others as human. When leaders appear unsettled or overwhelmed, it creates a ripple effect of uncertainty throughout the organization. People want to follow leaders who are vulnerable, but only if they also make them feel secure.
Robert GlazerWe are tougher when we are together. Resilience is all about forward motion in the face of obstacles, challenges, and adversity. We can expect hardship without fixating on it or dooming about it. When control and choice are taken away, we lose the ability to try. Thoughts aren’t reality, and they aren’t always productive. Instead of waiting to see what happens and then reacting to it, resilient individuals are proactive. Tragic optimism is about finding meaning and maintaining hope despite inevitable pain, loss, and suffering.
