When are you supposed to stop wanting more than you currently have? Are you supposed to stop wanting more at all? Is there a problem with always wanting more anyway? How do you chose at with level of live to settle if you chose to do so? Can you even tame your mind not to want more? Will you be happier on your death bed knowing you've grown all your life or knowing you've settled for what you deemed enough at an arbitrary period of it? Nothing is guaranteed either way: the problem of linking happiness with having more only arrives if you stop getting more of the things you want, while being with stagnation might be acceptable for your current self but foolish for you future self. If you are happiest during the chase, never settle.
