Without action, consuming content to learn won’t get you anywhere …
I’ve spent 1 hour per day watching informative content for a few months and, despite feeling a bit smarter, I haven’t produced anything useful and don’t remember most of it. Because I took bullet points as notes most of the time, I still have out-of-context data to go back to as a consolation prize. This website is one of the way I hope to anchor the best bits of knowledge in my brain, I hope you will like it and grow with me.
… but it can get you places.
The list of people I followed one month ago isn’t the same as my current list. I’ve added some and removed accounts for various reasons: frequency, theme, quality, etc. Having started with 1M or more followers brand accounts, I’ve unconsciously shifted toward 100k personal accounts seeking to have a genuine conversation on a topic they like. What also surprised me is the variety of people I’d follow: entrepreneurs, engineers, writers, critics, etc. So many wisdom I couldn’t access to where I live!
Different tools, different purposes.
Wouldn’t it be great to have one place that gathers all your social media feeds? Well, that is the internet and it uses several channel called platforms to do so. I’ve recently dropped my idea to only use one social media for everything and will slowly begin to use each channel for what it’s best at.
